This webinar provides a general understanding of the utility and implementation of mindfulness in clinical and early childhood practice. Early childhood mental health is the province of many disciplines- everyone who touches the life of an infant/young child and their family needs to know how to best support their emotional health and buffer the stresses and adversity in their lives. Information related to the science behind and the benefits of mindfulness will be shared. Participants will learn how to integrate mindfulness into their interactions and interventions with young children and their families. This training will enable participants to better understand how mindfulness contributes to well-being, self-awareness and self-regulation and decreased stress. Participants will understand how mindfulness can contribute to their own professional development and be a tool they can share with the children and families they work with.
