Our virtual training-of-trainers combines live online events and self-study to support your journey towards becoming a ZERO TO THREE certified trainer of The Growing Brain curriculum. Our virtual learning environment provides you with a variety of independent and small group learning experiences.

1. Pre-recorded ToT Orientation
2. Complete a Guided Self Study
3. Live Trainer Seminars (Parts 1 and 2)
4. Live Wrap-Up Meeting
Completion of the training-of-trainer (ToT) events only grants you eligibility to apply for Trainer Certification. You will need to apply and submit all Trainer Certification requirements stated in the Trainer Certification Overview 14 calendar days after attending the ToT. You are not considered certified until you receive your ZERO TO THREE Trainer Certification in your eLearn Dashboard.

Cancellation/Refund Policy All cancellation/refund requests must be received in writing by email to ZERO TO THREE (ZTT) at least thirty (30) days before the event start date. Refund requests will be processed within 30 days after the request is received. No refunds will be made within 30 days of the event start date. All sales within 30 days of an event are final.
Transfers Registrations may be transferred to an identical event in the future, or to another person. Transfers to future events must be received by email to ZTT at least 30 days before the original event’s start date. If transferring to another person, the original registrant should submit a transfer notice at least one (1) business day prior to the event start date. It should include the name of the person to whom the registration is being transferred along with the phone number and email of the substitute.

ZERO TO THREE is pleased to offer Continuing Education Units for a wide range of learning events, both in person and online.
Registrants can earn up to 1.2 CEUs or 12 Contact Hours for this course. Continuing Education Units are awarded with completion of session orientation, independent study, live attendance to online seminars, completed course evaluation, and passing knowledge assessment score of 80% or greater.
Learner Objectives for this course include:
- Identify the components of the ToT necessary to qualify for trainer certification
- Summarize the key messages from each of the seven Units of The Growing Brain
- Identify the key message from each learning objective within Units 1-3.
- Discuss strategies for facilitating activities and discussions using adult learning principles.
- Discuss strategies to establish trusting and respectful interactions with and among training participants.
- Identify the key message from each learning objective within Units 4-7
- Explain the Diversity-Informed Tenets for Work with Infants, Children, and Families, including opportunities to apply them in delivering The Growing Brain content.
- Develop the capacity to deliver The Growing Brain content, including completing the trainer certification requirements, trainer agreement, and code of practice and ethics.

Please note: A computer or electronic device with internet connection is required for successful completion. This course will be hosted in the month of March and includes 6 self paced e-learning modules, live session components, office hours, and a course evaluation and knowledge assessment.. As the official standard for continuing education and training, IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are recognized by a wide range of organizations, including professional associations, regulatory boards, corporations, and universities.

This session provides participants with an understanding of how brain development occurs within the context of relationships in infancy and early childhood.
Attendance for this event is automated. A verification code will be given during the training and must be inputted in the corresponding box in the contents tab. Participants must attend the webinar AND input the correct verification code in order to receive your certificate of attendance.
A child’s brain undergoes an amazing period of development from birth to three—producing more than a million neural connections each second. This session provides participants with an understanding of how brain development occurs within the context of relationships in infancy and early childhood. Participants will explore key concepts such as “mind-sight,” “serve & return,” experience dependency and expectancy, as they relate to neural development. Participants will learn how the limbic system and executive functioning are mediated through relationships and experience. Finally, participants will examine the impact of trauma and toxic stress on brain development.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will learn about early brain development and the role of relationships and environment.
- Participants will understand key concepts such as critical/sensitive periods, mindsight and serve and return.
- Participants will learn how to support neuro-relational development in infants and young children and how to support those children who have experienced trauma or toxic stress.
Access to this course will end 30 days after the end of the webinar. After this date, you will no longer have access to any course materials. Please make sure to download any handouts you may need and complete all evaluations and quizzes (if applicable) needed to obtain your certificate and credit for the course.
Once you have completed all course requirements, you will have continued or ongoing access to your course certificate by visiting the Transcripts/Achievement section of your dashboard.
