This session will share insights from three primary care clinics’ experiences with implementing HealthySteps with fidelity to the model. It will discuss fidelity and its importance in achieving outcomes, facilitators, and barriers to achieving fidelity, and specific strategies clinics have incorporated to strengthen implementation.

Alix McNulty is the Clinical Operations Manager for Community Outreach & Population Health for Advocate Children's Hospital which is part of the Advocate Aurora Health system in the Chicagoland area. In her role, Alix is responsible for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Mobile Healthcare program, the School Based Health Center at Maine East High School in Park Ridge, IL, the Pediatric Injury Prevention Program, and the HealthySteps Program which is positioned in four of Advocate's pediatric and family medicine clinics.

Colleen Morrison

James Bell Associates
Colleen Morrison is a research associate at James Bell Associates (JBA) with over 10 years of experience in program evaluation and applied developmental research. Her areas of expertise include early childhood education and maternal and child health. Currently at JBA, Dr. Morrison supports research and evaluation and technical assistance activities on a number of projects. For the HealthySteps Outcome Pilot Project, she leads the fidelity assessment and development of the HealthySteps logic model and theory of change.

Lance Till

James Bell Associates
Lance Till is an Associate Director with James Bell Associates (JBA). He has more than 19 years of experience in applied research, evaluation, and management of home visiting, early childhood, and maternal-child health programs. Till has contributed to local, state, and national evaluations of public health initiatives, evidence-based home visiting programs, and quality rating improvement systems. Till has 8 years of experience working with HealthySteps. He currently directs the HealthySteps Phase 2 project, where he oversees the development of research and implementation resources for the HealthySteps National Office. He previously led the HealthySteps Outcome Pilot Project and was the project manager for the HealthySteps Implementation and Outcome Study. In addition to his work on HealthySteps, Till leads JBA's efforts on the Get Ready Guilford Initiative, developing logic models and establishing benchmarks for the Initiative's prenatal to 3 components. He previously served as the JBA project director for the Early Childhood Systems Technical Assistance and Coordination Center and has supported a number of JBA's home visiting projects. Prior to joining JBA in 2011, Till managed the Palm Beach County Healthy Beginnings System of Care and conducted research and evaluation on several Florida-based child and family development projects.

DeAnn Davies

DeAnn Davies holds a Master's in Child Development/Counseling Psychology. She completed a post-graduate certification fellowship in Infant-Parent & Young Child Mental Health, and is a certified lactation counselor. Ms. Davies is a founding board member for Postpartum Support International's Arizona Chapter. She also currently serves as a board chair for Arizona State University's Department of Psychology's Alumni Advisory Council. Ms. Davies serves as the director for Summit Healthcare's Early Childhood Outreach and Pediatric Neuropsychology.

Laura Ibañez Gomez

Family Health Centers at NYU Langone
As the Manager of Maternal Child Health programs, Laura oversees the implementation of maternal and early childhood initiatives, acting as liaison between community programs and health centers. Laura holds a Master's degree in social work from the NYU Silver School of Social Work, and worked as a child psychologist in Spain. She has more than 10 years of experience working with children and families in the fields of mental health and human services.
