
AC21 - G2 - The State of Babies in 2021: Before and After the COVID-19 Pandemic
The presenter will discuss the "State of Babies Yearbook," advocacy tools, and resources to increase policymakers’ awareness of the needs of babies and their families; ways to garner support for child- and family-friendly policies; and how to advance responsive national and state policies. Special focus will be looking beyond national and state averages to discern where babies experiences inequities.

ZERO TO THREE
Kim Keating, MEd, is a senior policy research analyst in the ZERO TO THREE Policy Center. Since joining ZERO TO THREE in 2018, she has been responsible for development of the State of Babies Yearbook, a collaborative effort with Child Trends. Prior to joining ZERO TO THREE, Ms. Keating worked 13 years at James Bell Associates, where she conducted evaluations of child welfare programs and provided evaluation training and technical assistance to a diverse set of Administration for Children and Families' grantees. For 10 years prior she conducted research studies in support of the Office of Head Start and managed the annual Program Information Report data collection. She holds a Masters in Counseling & Human Development
