EHR-->EI: A Systems Integration Approach to Reducing Inequities in
Early Intervention Referrals and Increasing Retention
October 27th, 2:00-3:00 PM ET
Don’t miss your chance to engage with presenters from the 2022 LEARN Conference Baby Talk “EHR-->EI: A Systems Integration Approach to Reducing Inequities in Early Intervention Referrals and Increasing Retention.” Watch the special rebroadcast of the brief talk then bring your wonderings to the live discussion on the details of this incredible collaboration between the NYC Early Intervention Program and NYC Health + Hospitals (H+H). Explore how the collaborators incorporated the EI referral form into the EPIC EHR and implemented bi-directional data exchange and follow-up, and expanded from three sites during 2021 to more than 20 sites in February 2022.
As a result of attending this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Summarize the existing racial inequities in Early Intervention (EI) referrals and retention; particularly in NYC in 2019
- Recall strategies intended to reduce racial inequities in EI referrals and retention
- Identify how implementation of new tools and resources is being supported
