Promoting Connections to Support Resiliency for Families and Communities - A Closer Look at Safe Babies: A Program of ZERO TO THREE
April 22, 2026, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM ET
Special Member Exclusive follow-on discussion, 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM ET
Supporting strong, resilient relationships is essential for helping infants, toddlers, and families thrive, especially in the context of early adversity and child welfare involvement. But how can systems better center connection, healing, and stability?
Join us for a Virtual Member Event featuring Darneshia Allen, a national leader in early childhood systems and Safe Babies, a program of ZERO TO THREE. In this engaging session, you’ll get an inside look at how Safe Babies is transforming support for young children and families experiencing heightened risk.
Grounded in early childhood development and attachment science, Safe Babies brings together child welfare, courts, and community partners to strengthen relationships and improve outcomes. You’ll hear powerful examples from communities across the country and leave with practical ideas you can use to build more connected, trauma-responsive systems of care in your own work.
Learner objectives: As a result of participating in this event, learners will be able to…
- Describe at least two ways that early adversity and trauma impact the development of infants and toddlers.
- Identify key components and at least two strategies of the Safe Babies approach to support family engagement, cross-system collaboration, and resilience.
Member Exclusive w/ZERO TO THREE, 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM ET
After the webinar, ZERO TO THREE Members are invited to stay for a 30-minute, members-only facilitated debrief. This reflective conversation offers space to process key takeaways, share insights, and connect with your ZERO TO THREE community.
