Elizabeth DiLauro
Senior Director, Advocacy
ZERO TO THREE
As Senior Director of Advocacy, Ms. DiLauro leads ZERO TO THREE's advocacy strategy, including national and state campaigns to move an infant-toddler policy agenda. She directs ZERO TO THREE's Think Babies offsite link effort, which engages a network of more than 70 partner organizations and thousands of advocates nationwide. Ms. DiLauro is an experienced advocate, with expertise in children's policy and program development. Prior to her current role at ZERO TO THREE, she worked with the Pew Charitable Trusts, where she crafted state campaigns to increase access to children's dental care, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where she was responsible for developing and implementing strategies to advance children's mental health policy. She previously worked with ZERO TO THREE and Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) USA, focusing on early childhood advocacy at the federal and state levels. Liz holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Cedar Lane Nursery School.

Amanda Perez

Amanda Perez works with ZERO advocacy team to develop and implement advocacy campaigns on infant-toddler issues. Ms. Perez contributes to a variety of written products for ZERO TO THREEs Policy Center. She comes to her role with experience as an infant-toddler teacher supported by the Child Care Development Block Grant, an early interventionist under funding from Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, and sixteen years as a trainer and technical assistance provider with Early Head Start. She has particular expertise in attachment and the pivotal family role in child development and learning. In her current work, she is most interested in engaging grassroots advocates, including families.
