C4: Going Beyond the Well Visit: A HealthySteps Case Study
Overview
HealthySteps Specialists are in a unique position to provide longitudinal, relationship-based care to infants, toddlers, and their families. This session will describe how Brookdale Hospital's HealthySteps program went beyond the well visit to address one toddler’s at-risk social–emotional health.

- The participant will be able to describe the benefits of collaboration between healthcare providers, infant mental health specialists and community programs to address the needs of infants and toddlers
- The participant will be able to identify the dyadic therapy techniques utilized in treatment with a toddler and her mother over the course of one year.
- The participant will be able to identify CPP interventions that facilitate healing through the primary attachment relationship.
