Desiree Yoro Yoo is the eldest child of Filipino immigrants and has 2 children (ages 13, 10) with her husband who she has been friends with since high school. With a strong desire to be of service, she graduated with her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and has worked most of her professional career in community mental health centers supporting young children and families of color involved in child welfare. Desiree enjoys supporting the professional development of others and supporting future leaders in the fields of social work and of infant and early childhood mental health. Desiree is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and is endorsed in California as an Infant Family Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist and Reflective Practice Facilitator II. She is currently an Early Childhood Equity Infant Mental Health Workforce Specialist at WestEd and she teaches Diversity, Social Justice, and Cultural Humility at California State University Los Angeles - School of Social Work’s graduate program. Desiree serves as Board Secretary and Co-Chair for the Training & Education Committee for the California Association for Infant Mental Health.

Adriana Molina

Adriana has spent over 20 years working with at risk children and families coping with everything from living with AIDS, Extreme Poverty, Domestic Violence, Gang Culture and Child Abuse and Neglect. Ms. Molina is a CA-CIFECMH Endorsed Infant-Family & Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist & Reflective Practice Facilitator II and is currently the Co-Chair for the NCTSN Community Violence Group and the Chief Program Officer at Allies for Every Child in Los Angeles. Her focus in recent years has been to educate the community and stakeholders about Early Childhood Mental Health and strengthening System of Care communities serving children 0-5 and their families. A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an adoptive parent, she has been described as a clinician by training, a social worker by trade and a community advocate in practice. In addition to being an active Individual Affiliate, Ms. Molina has been on the advisory group for Sesame Street in Communities to develop resources to support families and young children in Foster Care. She provides training and consultation on topics related to Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, Supporting Young Children and Youth with Transitions, Cooperative Partnerships with Child Welfare, Leadership, Community Violence and Community Collaboration as well as prevention and early intervention strategies for Secondary Traumatic Stress and Trauma and Developmentally Informed Services.
