G1: Advancing the Evidence Base for IECMH Consultation: From Theories of Change to Measuring Outcomes

Overview

This workshop will help early childhood professionals develop a plan to build the evidence base for their program using resources developed by the Center of Excellence for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. Participants will refine their theory of change, build an individualized logic model, and select valid and reliable measures of outcomes.

1. Participants will be able to define the components of an evidence-based model and how these differ from programs, using examples from the field of IECMHC
2. Participants will be able to articulate their theory of change and develop a logic model for their IECMHC program
3. The participant will have the opportunity to learn about the implementation of current strategies to increase access to job-embedded learning for infant / toddler educators tied to increased compensation, offer feedback, and brainstorm new ideas.
